I bleed red, white and blue

I bleed red, white and blue- A contest!

Whether you’re a “Right Wing-Nut” or a “Leftist Barking Moonbat”…here in the trailer park we really don’t care because it’s the Fourth of July and we are ALL, if just for today, Americans.

Living abroad brought with it many exciting experiences and challenges but mostly it brought home some extreme feelings of patriotism. I discovered that my blood not only runs red, but I also bleed white and blue.

Friends joke about Happy Ex-patriots day. However you drink your tea you must admit the past few years have brought with them a new form of patriotism.

Jose’ and I spent most of our early morning coffee talk debating the Best of the Who’s Who? Star Spangled Banner guitar performances. The top six are listed below. Please review and don’t forget to VOTE at the end.

First up… a Mexican born national now a naturalized American citizen…Carlos Santana

Kiss Army Fans

Uncle Ted

But argumentatively the classic and baseline for ALL of the others. Ladies and gentlemen I give you the great Jimmy Hendrix!

Now it is time to VOTE! Please comment below your favorite selection. Or feel free to add a link to the list. Jose and I will tally the votes and get back to you.

However you channel your patriotism, you do you Boo! J

Just be sure and have a Happy and Safe Fourth of July!

Me and Jose’ will be parked on the Seawall eating BBQ yard bird and shrimps from the Gulf of Mexico, drinking adult beverages and watching the BIG parade and fireworks show! Y’all come on down.

Happy 4th of July to all! May your fireworks shoot BIG and BRIGHT and upright….Unless you’re aiming!

Patriotically yours,

Nadine Bodine

Your VERY Best friend in the whole wide world 🌎
